Eligibility Criteria / Qualification :

The State Information Commissioner shall be a Persons of eminence in public life with wide knowledge and experience in Law, Science and Technology, Social Service, Management, Journalism, Mass Media or Administration or Governance. The State Information Commissioner shall not be Member of Parliament or Member of the Legislature of any State or I-Jnion Territory, as the case may be ,or hold any other office of profit or connected with any political party or carrying on any business or pursuing any profession. Tenure 5 ( five )years from the date on which he/she enters upon the office or until he/she attains the age of 65 years whichever is earlier.2. Salary :- Salary of the State Information Commissioner shall be Rs. PM plus DA and other allowances from time to time subject to the adjustment of Pensionary/retirement benefits availed by him, if any, as per the rule. The allowances and other condition of services shall be eligible as per the Notification No.AR-103/2006 dated the 12th January 2016.

Interested candidates shall submit their Application in prescribed format as enclosed at annexure-A along with testimonial to (1) e-mail address secv-part-arn@nic.in and the Secretary to the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Department of Administrative Reforms ,BIock N02,Room No.204, 2nd floor, Civil Secretariat, Itanagar before 5 PM on the last date of closing the application. The submission of application in electronic format is mandatory and the time of receipt of e-mail would decide whether an application is in time or late. Closing date of application 31st December 2018(AN). No application will be entertained after the closing date.
