1) Post Name : Member, Child Welfare Committee  

No of Posts :  05 

Vacancy Distribution : 02 (East District) , 02 (North District) , 01 (West District) 


Eligibility / Qualification : 

Candidates should have a minimum of 07 (Seven) years of experience of working with children in the field of education, health, or welfare activities. 
OR 
Should be a practicing professional with a degree in Child Psychology or Psychiatry or Social or Sociology of Human Development of in the field of Law. 
OR 
A retired judicial officer 

Sitting Allowance : Rs. 1500/- per sitting


2) Post Name : Member, Juvenile Justice Board  

No of Posts :  02 

Vacancy Distribution : 01 (East District) , 01( North District) 


Eligibility / Qualification : 

Candidate should have at least 07 (Seven) years of experience of working with children in the field of education, health, or welfare activities. 
OR 
Should be a practicing professional with a degree in Child Psychology or Sociology or in the field of Law. 

Sitting Allowance Rs. 1500/- per sitting

The interested candidate fulfilling the eligibility criteria must submit the RESUME addressed to the office as stated below on or before 19.06.2019 (WEDNESDAY) latest by 4 P.m. 


Application addressed to the Additional Secretary-cum-Director, ICPS, SJE&WD, along with the Under Secretary, ICPS, Social Justice empowerment & Welfare Department, 5th Mile, Lumsey, East Sikkim on or before 19.06.2019 (WEDNESDAY) latest by 4 p.m.

 Only applications with prescribed and attested documents received within the stipulated date and time shall be entertained. Social Justice, Empowerment, & Welfare Department reserves the right to reject any application not found fulfilling the above terms and conditions. 

NO TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the interview. Original documents should be submitted at the time of interview.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:  

1. All the placement stated above under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme are purely on contractual basis. 2. The above appointment shall not confer not any right for regularization in future. 
3. The candidate shall be selected through walk-in-interview. 
4. The candidate fulfilling above eligibility criteria as prescribed against each post shall apply. 
5. Candidate must be in good health and physically fit to discharge his/her duties. 


OTHER REQUIREMENTS:  
1. Attested copy or requisite qualification from a recognized Board/University, form 10th Standard onwards. 
2. Attested copy of Sikkim Subject Certificate/Certificate of Identification from the Concerned Authority.
3. Attested copy of valid Local Employment Card. 
4. No objection Certificate from the Secretary, Head of Department in the case of any temporary employee serving in Government Departments.
5. Experience Certificate duly certified by the relevant Issuing Authority.
