Salary/pay : Rs. 28,210- 640(4)-30,770- 840(9)- 38,330-1130(15)-55,280/- plus usual allowances as admissible under Board’s rules.
Eligibility/ Qualification : Candidates should possess a 3 year Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from any Indian University/Institute recognized by the Government of Meghalaya or UGC or AICTE.
Age limit : Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 27 years as on 01-01-2019. Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in case of ST/SC candidates.

Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall print the filled-in application and Admit Card and submit the same in the following address :

MeECL, Lum Jingshai, Short Round Road,

Candidates can submit their application forms at the above mentioned address only in working days between 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM from 6th June 2019 to 28th June 2019.
Last Date of Receiving of application is 28/06/2019.

Candidates must attach following documents along with the application :
i) Printed Application Form and Admit Card duly filled in as instructed in Incomplete Application Form OR Application Form submitted in any other format shall be summarily rejected.
ii) A Bank Draft of Rs. 460/- for General Candidates and Rs. 230/- for ST/SC candidates, payable at Shillong, in favour of the ‘Principal Account, MeECL, Shillong’.
(iii) 3 (three) recent passport size colour photographs.
(iv) Self-attested copies of Birth Certificate, Educational qualification Certificates and Mark Sheets from Matriculation onwards and ST/SC Certificates, where applicable.
Mode of Selection for MeECL Meghalaya Recruitment 2019 (May)
Candidates, whose applications are accepted, shall be issued Admit card on the spot. Hence, applicants are required to submit The applications in person.
Candidates will be required to appear for a written test, which will be held on the 13th July 2019, at 10:00 am, in Christian Academy Higher Secondary School, Riatsamthiah, Shillong.
Candidates will be denied entry into the examination hall after 10:30 am.

(ii) The total marks and Pass marks for the Technical paper, General studies and Personal interview shall be as below:
** Technical Paper: 180 Marks (Pass marks- 90)
** General Studies: 60 Marks (Pass marks- 30)
** Personal Interview: 60 Marks (Pass marks- 30)
The duration of the written test shall be 3 hours.
Note : Only those candidates who qualify in the written test shall be called for a personal interview on the date to be notified subsequently.
