How to apply for Nagaland Police Recruitment 2019 (August) -  Constable posts


The Application Forms can be obtained from the Office of the respective District Superintendents of Police/Commissioner of Police Dimapur starting from 16/08/2019 during office hours on payment of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred) only (non-refundable) as Recruitment fee.

The duly filled application form should be addressed to the Director General of Police, Nagaland, Kohima and should be submitted to the respective District Superintendent's of Police/Commissioner of Police Dimapur on or before 30/09/2019. 

All candidates are directed to submit self attested copies of the following certificates/ documents:
i) Educational qualification certificates. 
ii) Birth certificate 
iii) Tribe certificate. 
iv) Indigenous Inhabitant certificate. 
v) Unemployment certificate. 
vi) Backward certificate (for backward tribe). 
vii) 4 (four) recent passport photo in colour.


The venue of Recruitment Test will be as follows :- 
a) At Mokokchung - for candidates belonging to the districts of Mon, Tuensang, Longleng and Kiphire. 
b) At Police Complex, Chumukedima- for candidates belonging to the districts of Kohima, Dimapur, Peren, Zunheboto, Wokha. Phek and Mokokchung.

Terms:

1. Recruitment tests consisting of physical, written and oral will be conducted by a recruitment board constituted for the purpose by Police Headquarters. 

2. The backward tribe Reservation Quota as per the latest Government notification will be implemented. 

3. As per the Government Policy, 33% of all Post in DEF shall be reserved for female candidates. Thus, all female applicants if eligible and qualified would be eligible only against the DEF posts. 

4. Candidates applying for the post must be CL-VI Passed for Backward Tribe and CL-VIII Passed for General Category from NBSE or Equivalent Qualification from other board of School Education in India. 

5. Candidates who commits forgery or indulge in tampering of documents shall be liable for penal provision under relevant section of law. 

6. Candidates shortlisted for the posts for viva- voce are required to produce original documents/certificates. 
Applications will be summarily rejected, if any of the certificates/ documents are incomplete. Serving Government employees applying for the post should submit NOG issued by the concerned HOD. 

7. No TA/DA will be admissible to the candidates for appearing in the Recruitment Rally/ Tests at the designated venue. 

8. The date for the recruitment test will be notified at a later stage in the local paper(s).
