According to DERT Shillong recruitment, applications are invited for filling up vacant posts of Documentation Officer and Publishing Assistant on purely contractual basis. DERT Shillong Recruitment 2022 (June) - Full details 

1. Name of the post: Documentation Officer 

No of Posts : 01

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have done M.Tech in CSE or MCA from a recognized university/institute. (5% relaxation for SC/ST).

Knowledge/Skill/Experience Required : 

i) Set-up maintenance of audio visual database. 

ii) Knowledge, skills and experience in videography, photography and editing.

iii) Experience of working at least 1 year in Govt. Sector.

iv) Report preparation, good command over language and team player.

Remuneration : Rs. 30,000/- per month (fixed)

Age limit : Not less than 18 years and not more than 32 years (5 years relaxed for SC/ST).


2. Name of the post: Publishing Assistant 

No of Posts : 01

Educational Qualification : Candidates must have done M.A in Journalism, English, Creative writing, or Communication Studies with 60% marks from a recognized university/ institute. (5% relaxation for SC/ST).

Knowledge/Skill/Experience Required : 

i) Knowledge, Skills, and Experience in creating, reviewing, and compiling content for publication, organizing necessary data and content for publishing, and checking and proofreading documents and content prior to publication/circulation.

ii) Good command over language and team player.

Remuneration : Rs. 23,000/- per month (fixed)

Age limit : Not less than 18 years and not more than 32 years (5 years relaxed for SC/ST).

Mode of Selection :

For both posts, preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable skills. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated via the email which they have provided. The shortlisted candidates will need to appear for a personal interview. There will not be any travel allowance for the interview. The selected candidates are expected to join within one week from the date of appointment.
