Post Name : Scientific Assistant
No of Posts : 36 [UR-20 , OBC-09 , SC-02 , STH-02 , STP-03]
Organization Wise Vacancies :
- 24 nos. of post for Regional Forensic Science Laboratories at Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Silchar and Tezpur respectively,
- 7 nos. of post for Mobile Forensic Laboratories
- 5 nos. of Post for Directorate Office at Kahilipara, Guwahati-781019
Salary / Pay Scale : PB-2 (Rs. 14,000- 60,500/-) +Grade Pay of Rs. 7,600/-
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must fulfil the following.
B.Sc in Chemistry/Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject
or
B.Sc in Botany/Zoology / Anthropology (Physical) /Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject
or
B.Sc in Physics/Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject.
Other Criteria : The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a Permanent Resident of Assam .
Age Limit : The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 40 years of age on 1.1.2023 (5 Years relaxation for STP/SC/STH and 3 Years relaxation for OBC/ MOBC). The Rules & Regulations/Notifications/Orders issued by the Govt. of Assam from time to time will prevail in case of any discrepancy.
Selection Process of Forensic Science Assam Recruitment 2023 (Sept) for Scientific Assistant Posts
The candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear both in written test and skill test (Only for those who qualified in the written test). Date of examination will be announced in due course.
