1. Post Name : Junior Assistant (Grade-III)

Pay Scale / Salary : Pay Band-2 Rs. 14,000 – 70,000, Grade Pay - Rs. 5,600
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must fulfill the following qualification and criteria.
- Applicant should have passed Bachelors Degree from any stream (Arts/Science/Commerce) from any recognized university.
- Applicants must have minimum 6 months Diploma in Computer Application.
Age Limit : 18-40 years as on 01st January 2024.
Age relaxation: SC/ ST: 5 years, OBC/MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, Ex-Servicemen: 2 years

Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must fulfill the following qualification and criteria.
- Applicant must have passed Class VIII from any recognized institute.
Age Limit : 18-40 years as on 01st January 2024.
Age relaxation: SC/ ST: 5 years, OBC/MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years, Ex-Servicemen: 2 years

Interested and eligible candidates may apply in Standard Form of Application as published in Assam Gazette in Part-IX and the last date o receipt of application is 25th April, 2024.
Duly filled application along with required documents may be sent by post or by hand to the following office address.

i) Age proof (Birth Certificate/ HSLC Admit etc.)
ii) Proof of Educational Qualification - Highest Examination Passed Certificate.i

Selection Process for DC Sonitpur Recruitment 2024 (Apr)
For Grade-III posts
a) Part - I - Written Test (150 marks) as follows:
i) General English- 50 Marks
ii) General Knowledge - 50 Marks (Comprising History, Geography and Culture of Assam)
iii) Arithmetic - 50 Marks.
The qualifying marks shall be 50% for unreserved category and 40% for reserved category.
b) Part-II - Computer test- 50 marks.
- Four times the number of vacancies of each categories will be called for the test on the basis of mark obtained in Part-I.
- The Candidates must have secured at least 20 marks in the practical test. Candidates securing less than 20 marks shall not be considered for final select list.
- Preference will be given to experienced and local residents.
For Grade-IV posts
i) Written Test for 50 Marks (30 marks for Assamese language, 20 Marks General Knowledge (Comprising History, Geography and Culture of Assam).
ii) Preference will be given to experienced and local residents.
