Pay Scale : Rs.30,000/- to 1,10,000/- and Grade Pay: Rs.12,700/-
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024.
The upper age limit is relaxable :
- By 5 years for SC/ST candidates
- By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates
- Persons with benchmark disability (PWBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC
Eligibility Criteria: Applicant must fulfill the following qualification and criteria.
Educational Qualification:
i) A candidate must be an advocate enrolled under the Advocate's Act, 1961 who has been practicing such for at least 3 years.
Or
ii) A Judicial officer of at least 3 years standing.
Or
iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 3 year experience as such officer or with 2 years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 3 years.
Or
iv) A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 5 years experience as such officer or 2 years experience as such Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 4 years.

The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate of the candidate along with the application form. State Govt. Employees of Assam need not submit any documents regarding domicile proof, however, they will have to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective employer/ copy of the acknowledged intimation letter for the NOC (if under process) from competent authority of the respective Department.
Candidates should be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
