Pay Scale : PB-3 Rs. 47,600-1,51,100/- Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/- in Level - 13 of the Revised Pay Matrix of Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) (First Amendment) Rules, 2018 subject to revision by the State Government time to time.

Remarks: A relaxation of 5% marks shall be allowed to SC/ST/PwD candidates for all subjects.

Desirable : Knowledge in Bengali or Kok-borok.

Age Limit: Up to 40 years as on 10.06.2025. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Government servants. However, the SC/ST/Govt. Servant will not get the further relaxation of 5(five) years over and above relaxation of 5(five) years which they are already entitled to get as SC/ST candidates.

Resident Proof:  To apply for the aforementioned post, the applicant must have Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC). This is in pursuance of GA (P&T) Department Notification dated 07.07.2023.

Selection Procedure for Education Tripura Recruitment 2025 (May)

The selection procedure will be governed as per notified schedule of the

post of Lecturer, District Institute of Education and Training (Group-B, Gazetted).

Selection Process:

(a) As per recruitment rules, the Selection process will comprise of 02 (two) successive steps: viz -

(i) Written Examination will be conducted out of 100 marks.

(ii) Interview/ Viva: 15 marks.

(b) For detailed selection process please refer (Annexure-A) and subject wise syllabus please refer (Annexure-B).

(c) The total marks for the Interview/Personality Test will be 15 marks shall be to assess the personal qualities of the candidate's e.g. intellectual ability, social traits interest in current affairs, critical power of judgment, variety and depth of interest, ability for leadership and moral integrity etc.

(d) Candidates will be called for the Interview/Personality Test in category wise on the basis of the result of the Written Exam in the following ratio:

Number of vacancies		Number of candidates to be called for Personality Test (Category wise)
1 (one)		5 (five) candidates
2 (two)		8 (eight) candidates
3 (three) and above		3 (three) times the number of vacancies

Candidate(s) scoring marks equal to that of the last candidate so selected for the Personality Test will also be called for Personality Test.

(e) The final selection will be made in order of merit on the basis of the marks obtained by a candidate in aggregate adding the marks obtained in the Written Examination (85 % weightage of 100 marks) and by adding the marks obtained in the Interview process [out of 15 marks and 01 (one) mark out of 15 will be awarded for Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-Borok]. If a candidate remains absent in Interview/Personality Test his/her candidature will not be considered for final selection.

(f) In the list of recommendation, merit position of candidates securing equal marks will be finalized as per their seniority of age. The same procedure is to be followed for preparing waiting List, if there be any.

Further provided that in the list of recommendation, merit position of candidates securing equal marks in aggregate and also of the same age will be decided on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in the minimum educational qualification prescribed in Recruitment Rules.

(g) Ranks of the candidates are not prepared for the candidates beyond the recommendation list & wait list (if there be any).

How to apply for Education Department Tripura Recruitment 2025 (May) - 27 Posts

Interested and eligible candidates may apply online and submit application through Online Application Portal only. The Commission will not entertain any hard copy application. Before submission of online application, read carefully the instruction to candidates.

The application process involves the following steps:

• Link for Online Application Portal will be available on Commission's website from 15.05.2025 to 10.06.2025 (up to 5.30 PM). Before applying for the post, an applicant (New user) shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission's Website viz. https//tpsc.tripura.gov.in. Once applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number/email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through the Commission's website.
• With their respective application candidates are not required to upload/submit any certificate/document in support of their claims.

Application Fee : 

Rs. 350/- (Rupees three hundred fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
