As per UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualification for appointment of Teachers and other Academic Staff in Universities and Colleges and Measures for the Maintenance of Standards of Higher Education, 2018 (No F.1-2/2017 (EC/PS) and up to date amendment of the said Act including 2nd amendment of the said Regulation, 2023.
Area of Expertise : Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
For the post of Medical Lab Technology:
MD (Path)/MD (Biochemistry) / MD (Micro) with two years working experience or Candidates bearing qualifications in MSc (MLT)/MSc (Medical Microbiology)/MSc(Biochemistry)/MSc(Life Science) with two years working experience may also apply.
Desirable: PhD in relevant subject as mentioned in the minimum requirement of education qualification.
For the post of Bachelor of Physiotherapy:
Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy (B. PT./ B. Th. P/B. P. Th.), Masters in Physiotherapy (M. P. Th / M. Th. P. /M. Sc. P. T/M. PT.) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from a recognized University). As per the NCAHP guidelines.

NB:
a) Ph.D or NET/SLET/SET shall be essential qualification in subjects, where NET/SLET/SET is conducted. Decision of the Selection/Screening Committee in respect of eligibility criteria for other subjects/areas, where NET is not conducted shall be final and binding. With regards to the minimum requirement of education qualification relevant regulation/guidelines of UGC/AICTE/ICAR/NCAHP will be applicable.
b) Candidates having expertise in related/interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary subjects are encouraged.
c) Experience in Teaching/Research/Industry/ Social Organization (NGO) is desirable.

Interested and eligible candidates need to apply ONLINE through the Portal available in the website of the University (www.bssrv.ac.in). A print copy of the application submitted online may be also be mailed to e-mail (registrar@bssrv.ac.in).
The last date for receiving of application to be considered for the next round of selection process is 26/06/2025 (up to 11.59 pm).
Candidates shall have to pay Rs. 500/- as processing fee (non-refundable) through online in the following account - Birangana Sati Sadhani Rajyik Vishwavidyalaya, Golaghat (A/C no.- 40535146080, IFSC Code, SBIN0000083) payable at State Bank of India Golaghat Branch.
The proof of payment of processing fee must be submitted along with the online application by enclosing the receipt against the payment.
Other Important Points
- The engagement of Teaching Associate/ Guest Faculty is purely a temporary arrangement. Consolidated
Salary (negotiable) shall be paid based on Candidates qualification and experience. The period of initial
engagement is for 3 (three) months and which may be extended for a period based on performance as well
as requirement of the Vishwavidyalaya but not exceeding 1 (one) year.
